i bought 10 pairs of these socks about 10 years ago. after a while they were my only socks (everything else had worn out). I work out rigorously on a daily basis and only wear these socks. If you are serrious about comfortable, durable, high quality socks that last forever, consider nothing else, these are the socks you want. (ultimax socks)

I have several pares of Wigwam merino socks, and I love them. These are not as warm and probably better for summer and warmer temperatures when walking or hiking.

As stated, these are the best socks ever ( for hiking and camping anyway). I would have given them 5 stars but they are just socks. They are soft, have good wicking properties, and decent cushioning for their weight. I've taken them to the top of Camelback Mt. in Scottsdale twice. Once in February and Once in July. Definitely recomended.
